There’s no alarm that sounds when your child asks to be carried for the last time. No calendar reminder for the final teddy-bear tea party or themed birthdays. And one day, when your children are taller than you, when the bedtime stories have been replaced by headphones or group chats, you’ll have these photographs. Tangible reminders of a time that once felt endless, but went too fast.
